Our History
The Bill and Melinda Gates College of Health Technology Ningi was established with a vision to address the critical shortage of skilled healthcare professionals in Northern Nigeria. Named in honor of the philanthropic work of Bill and Melinda Gates in global health, our institution represents a commitment to improving healthcare access and quality in underserved communities.
Founded in response to the growing need for qualified health technicians in Bauchi State and the broader Northern region, BMGCHTN became the first institution of its kind to receive full accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in the state.
Since our inception, we have graduated over 500 healthcare professionals who now serve in hospitals, clinics, and community health centers across Nigeria and beyond. Our graduates are known for their technical competence, ethical practice, and commitment to serving underserved populations.
